Faith is the principal instrument of breakthrough in every endeavor of life. It is what beautifies destinies and add color to the dignity of believers. It is the critical factor that influences every man’s status. Faith is not just a mere confession; it is a great profession. It is the wisdom of God you need to get to your place of glory and honor in Christ. Everything about God and your destiny begins with faith. Furthermore, the foundation of every vision and its fulfillment anchor on faith.
Without faith it is impossible to move God, and when you cannot move Him, it becomes absolutely impossible to receive anything from Him. Hebrews 11:6. So, without faith it is impossible to please God. Moreover, victory becomes a way of life when faith is actively at work in you. Contrary to the world’s belief system which places emphasis on dreams, goals and self which in turn subjected man to various destructive tendencies; absolute faith in God is what makes the journey of life great. The Bible makes this clear in Jeremiah 17:5-8, “Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is”
Beloved, without faith you are bound to fail. Jesus said to Peter, “I have prayed for you that thy faith faileth not.” Luke. 22:32. That means you and I don’t have any future without faith.
So, how do you put faith to work?
Accept Personal Responsibility
Responsibility is what makes faith to work. You must accept responsibility for a personal walk with God by obeying His words. Enoch walked with God and was not, because God took him. It was said of Enoch that his way pleased the Lord. Whatever God is asking you to do through His word must be complied with absolutely. God is not a taskmaster; He is a loving Father. He wants to make you and turn you to the envy of your world. Obedience in God’s Word is an expression of your personal confidence in His ability. Heb. 10:35-36.
It must reflect in your action
Faith without action is dead. James. 2:17. Faith is reflective. You can’t operate it without it showing. It will show in your looks, your walk, in the statements you make and also in your countenance. Positive action is a clear evidence of faith at work. The Bible tells us that “Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, prepared an ark to the saving of his house” Heb. 11:7. Also, when Abraham was called of God, by faith he obeyed and departed. Genesis.12:1-4.
Furthermore, the Bible says, “Above all, taking the shield of faith, where with ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Ephesians. 6:16. So, faith is a weapon of war. In order to obtain the breakthrough you desire, you have to put the weapon to good use. Until you fight, you can’t win. The kingdom of God suffereth violence, and the violent takes it by force. That force is the force of faith. When you engage in a faith battle, it is a good fight, because the end will be favorable to you. 1 John. 5:4.
